Jeff Mangum - Live at Aquarius Records

This, my favourite Jeff Mangum/Neutral Milk Hotel bootleg of the ones I have heard, dates back to July 4th 1996. Aside from ITAOTS's "Oh Comely" and Holland 1945 B-side "Engine", these are either unreleased tracks or obscurer older tracks from the first few Neutral Milk Hotel tapes dating back to the early 90's (which I may post in the future). It's a must have for Mangum fans; from the beautiful and powerful Oh Comely companion piece "Oh Sister" to the frantic "She Did A lot of Acid" to the passionate "Sailing Through", this bootleg is simply bliss. I'd recommend listening to this on a chilly cycle in the small hours of the night through a nostalgic place of your choosing.
